After almost a week of careful deliberation, the EFDC Facebook Photo Shootout judging panel is proud to announce that the winner for July 2009 has been awarded to none other than Denise Sutherland who uploaded a terrific image of chihuahua puppy Petal investigating a newly purchased white Nimbus lamp.

As the July monthly winner, Denise takes home a massive haul of cash and prizes (and by ‘cash and prizes’ we mean a lamp of her choice) as well as gaining worldwide exposure for Petal with her winning image being featured in the Electric Firefly website gallery.

For those of you who missed out this month or haven’t yet uploaded an image, don’t fret – submissions for August are now being accepted on the Electric Firefly Facebook page. Remember, the judges aren’t necessarily looking for the most technically accomplished image – thinking outside the square and a little creativity go a long way.
