Wow, Movember is practically halfway over and i’m pleased to report that all three members of the Electric Firefly Mo Bro’s are sporting their brand new moustaches.

Admittedly, Simon does somewhat bear resemblance to that angry fifteen year old at high school, you know, the one who had to be sat down by the PE teacher for a discussion about personal hygeine and how to use deodorant. Anyway, I digress.

As mentioned in an earlier post, pledges aside, all three of Mo Bro will be donating $1 from every lamp sold during the month of Movember, to date a tidy sum if I do say so myself. Combine that with the $250 or so pledged by our families, friends and general wellwishers and we’re practically sitting on half a grand. A somewhat respectable amount you could say.

However ‘respectable’ isn’t what Electric Firefly is about. In the eyes of Electric Firefly, ‘respectable’ just isn’t good enough. In fact I challenge anyone to recall an occasion that saw any of the Mo Bros approach something in moderation? I know I speak for the three is us when i say that we’re not about living the button-down life like some. We want it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles. Sure, we might offend a few of the bluenoses with our cocky strides and musky odors… Crap. Yet again I seem to have digressed.

Alright, let’s cut to the chase. This is the deal – anyone who donates just $10 (or more) to the Electric Firefly Mo Bros will be entered into the draw to win any lamp of their choice from the Electric Firefly shop. All contestants will receive automatic karma points, a warm and fuzzy feeling and if nothing else a tax deduction for this financial year.

Seriously, we’ll all be most appreciative and besides, you really don’t want to see us beg – we look truely pathetic.
