This weekend Electric Firefly will be donating 10% of all lamp sales to WikiLeaks as our way of showing support for Julian Assange and his organisation.

It’s taken a while but we’re please to announce that Sensis, the company responsible for the annual dumping of (mostly) unused and unwanted phonebooks on doorsteps across Australia, have finally bowed to public pressure and launched a new website allowing the public to cancel phonebook deliveries for the following three years.

There are many among us who live in fear of refugees and their impact on “our way of life”, but I don’t believe everything I read in the Herald, nor that reported in prime time news or on current affairs programmes.
